Woodkirk Sports Club

To improve WSC Clubhouse building to make it more welcoming and sustainable in the long term to support weekly sports facilities and activities for young children and adults, specifically by:
i) Upgrading the fabric of the building and ensuring it meets modern building regulations and safety standards.
ii) Making the building safe and secure by introducing new external lighting and anti-vandalism measures to protect the building against theft and damage – thus enabling the club to firstly obtain building insurance cover and enable it to use its fundraising to support sporting activities, training and youth development rather than building repairs
iii) Installing a new boiler and additional insulation to improve energy efficiency, reduce energy usage and costs.
