Woodland Centre Dulwich Upper Wood

The aim of the project is to be able to open the Woodland Centre at Dulwich Upper Wood. The Woodland Centre will provide.

• A base for managing the Nature Reserve for Staff & Volunteers.
• An educational resource for Local Schools, allowing increased school visits.
educational awareness for children & adults of local woodlands, the importance of ecology & conservation and how that fits into the bigger picture.
• A place where people can drop in to find out more.
• A space for Adult Education courses in Ecology and Conservation, Woodland Crafts and Practical Management.
• A demonstration of Green Building techniques, Recycling and Energy Conservation.
• An inspiring space that can be used by Local Community groups for Residents meetings, Yoga Classes, Scouts groups, Elderly groups, Art classes/Displays, Friends of groups etc.
• Access for all including Wheelchair & Disabled visitors.
