Woodland Fort

Woodland Fort is one of the many defensive installations built around Plymouth in the nineteenth century (known as Palmerston forts). The aims of this project are to: Undertake urgent landscape maintenance work in order to preserve the built structures and historic fabric of the site;
Research and produce a landscape conservation management plan to inform and guide the restoration and maintenance of the fort’s grounds and implement the recommendations developed as part of the conservation management plan
