Woodland Wonders – Adventure on the Sandstone Escarpment

The project will offer informal play opportunities in a complex of woods along the sandstone escarpment in North West Cheshire, incorporating Woodhouse Hill, Snidley Moor and Frodsham Hill and which are managed as one woodland site. This will provide us with the chance to further promote the site and its importance to the local community. Improvements will also be made to the site in order to encourage visitors to explore.
The project will not only make physical enhancements but importantly will engage and involve young people in the creation of these play elements encouraging a sense of pride and respect for the natural environment.
