Woodland Wonders – Old Wood

The project will offer informal play opportunities in the wood which will provide us with the chance to further promote the site and its importance to the local community. It will also make the wood more easily accessible by local people.
The project will not only make physical enhancements but importantly will engage and involve young people in the creation of these play elements encouraging a sense of pride and respect for the natural environment.
