Woodoaks Farm – Hedgelaying Project 2

Woodoaks Farm is planning to restore and enhance a variety of wildlife habitats. Successful hedge planting is dependent on protective fencing from both deer and rabbits, we are asking for funding for fencing on either side of the new hedges. We successfully planted 1.2km of hedges in 2021/22 and are aiming to increase that to 2km this year.
Volunteers are currently helping plant hedges and wildflower strips and are managing our compost club which serves as a great platform to inform people about the importance of soil health and the impact of food waste.
