Woods in and Around Towns (WIAT) Signage Altens

The purpose of the project is to promote access to the Woods in and Around Towns (WIAT) woods and to promote public use through promoting individual woods and the links between them.
Access and management improvements have been carried out recently at Kincorth Hill, Wellington Road Woods and Burbank Woods as part of the WIAT project with partners Aberdeen Greenspace, Aberdeen City Council and Forestry Commission Scotland.
The current project will erect 17 finger posts creating and promoting routes between the woods to locals and visitors alike, Most of the routes are part of the Core Paths Network.
