Woodsetton War Memorial Project, Woodsetton Charitable Trust, Dudley

This is a project to move the Woodsetton War Memorial from where it stands, outside a now privately owned church which is used for storage only, to a piece of public land, which is a much more suitable site. The project also entails carrying out repairs to the memorial. By moving the memorial, the local community will be able to easily access the memorial and be able to commemorate the people of Swan Village, Woodsetton and Parkes Hall who fought in World War.The new site is easily visible from the main road and will allow the community to hold remembrance services with the memorial as the centre of the service.
