Woodside Park, Lymington – Skate Park Renewal

the project aims to replace the tired and worn out metal skate ramps at Woodside Gardens with a new modern concrete skate plaza for the town’s young people, accessible to skaters, bikers and rollerbladers, from young beginners to advanced adults. The existing skate park, now over 13 years old, is reaching the end of its natural life, despite being diligently maintained by the council and well used by participants. The old facilities have been recognised by the council as being in need of replacement due to some of the metal ramps becoming rusty, dangerous and unusable; the annual RoSPA report has highlighted deficiencies requiring attention. The new concrete plaza will give a smoother ride, last longer, be quieter and more visually appealing.
