Woolton Hill Church Hall, Newbury – Refurbishment and Extension (1967/D)

The project covers the extension and refurbishment of the Woolton Hill Church Hall which was built in 1911. Most facilities are at “end of life” and in need of replacement.

Some of the key objectives are: to provide greater capacity to meet the unsatisfied demand for rental use of the building across the community; to extend the building with two new meeting rooms; to build new toilet facilities and additional storage for our users; to provide a safer segregated operation for our Pre-School and to enable concurrent use of the Hall by other groups while Pre-School is open; and, finally, to operate the hall with greater efficiency.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the costs of the refurbishment and extension.
