Workington Playgoers

The project aims to remove and replace an old (45 years) and inefficient heating system with a modern, twin-boiler, gas-fired, thermostatically-controlled system. This would enable the Workington Playgoers theatre to be used more effectively and with greater confidence, especially in the winter, create a more comfortable environment for users of the building and help ensure the continued use of this important cultural asset and local amenity. It would also open up the building to a wider range of community uses across all seasons of the year.
