Wormingford Village Hall Roof Replacement, Wormingford Recreation Trust, Colchester

The aim of this project is to replace the life expired roof of Wormingford Village Hall to ensure both the continued use of this important community facility and to prepare it for a future project to install solar panels and battery storage. In addition, the current roofing material is asbestos tiles, so they need to be removed safely and disposed of appropriately, as this makes current roof repairs challenging and potentially unsafe. The roof is already failing and if not replaced soon this valuable community space would become unusable.
