Worthington Wetland Wildflower Project

The creation of wetland habitat and extension of wildflower mewsow (including woodland, wetland and some cornfield species of wildflower). The Friends group plan to hold community planting day, involving schools and Sale Lions. Educational links would be improved for four of the local primary schools through interpretation and lessons in the park. This supports ongoing work of the Friends group to improve the identification of and conditions/opportunities for wildlife in the park (e.g. a bird and bat box scheme, tree labelling, information in noticeboards).
