Wotton Community Sports Foundation – Safe and accessible path to skate park

We aim to provide a Tarmac surfaced path running 500m from an existing safe footpath to the skate park and other current and planned facilities on our site. The current access runs along a narrow and badly damaged footpath which slopes towards the roadway, and includes a crossing on a busy junction. The path will improve access to the other facilities on the site, and the path and gateways are designed to be welcoming to wheelchairs, mobility scooters and those with sight impairment.
We have a good track record of delivery and believe the path to be sustainable, that it will tackle a real and imperative local problem and add enormous value to an existing local community amenity.
