WWT Castle Espie Wetland Centre, Saline Lagoon AO2.1

The application is to support the main habitat restoration and in particular work on the saline lagoon. This involves the enhancement of the existing habitat and the creation of a further 4 hectacres of saline lagoon habitat. The work involves major scrub clearance and earthworks, water control structures and planting.
