Wyatts Covert, Ancient Woodland

This ancient woodland is in need of care and management for the benefit of people and wildlife. This project will improve the access and ambiance of the woods and provide some positive woodland management. The plans include tree works to improve habitat, let more light reach the woodland floor to enhance wild-flowers and improve safety for users of the wood. Path clearance, rubbish removal. fence works, access improvements and removal of invasive species will make this a much more attractive place to visit. A new entrance sign and community newsletter to inform people of the improvements and enhancements and encourage them to enjoy and value these ancient woods.
