Wyedean Link, Greenways and Cycleroutes Limited, Bristol

This project is for the construction of a 1300m safe walking and cycling route linking Wyedean School and the National Diving and Activity Centre. The route will go round the school playing fields, to the new Barratt’s housing site, and onto Sedbury Lane. A new ramp will link Sedbury Lane with the old railway embankment, crossing the A48 Chepstow Gloucester road with a new bridge and connecting to the Diving Centre. Here it will link with a separate planned project continuing along the old railway line to Tintern. It will be built by a small local contractor with continued support from the Greenways volunteers.
