Yarrow Valley, Chorley - Skatepark Development (5746/D)

The project aim is to create a bespoke concrete skatepark facility for the use of skate boarders, bmx bikers and inline skaters - to be used as a Borough facility. Designed by young people of the village who formed the Euxton Skate Park group. This project will increase the range and type of sports facilities available within Euxton and surrounding areas of Chorley. This facility will increase the amount of facilities targeted at older age groups, when play areas are no longer interesting or stimulating to them. This facility will supply a much needed professional, safe, bespoke amenity to the young people of the area which is not available without involving large travelling distances. The Trust grant will contribute towards the skatepark.
