Yarrow Valley Coutry Park – Natural Play Space

Creation of a natural play space using a combination of natural materials sourced locally (recycled where possible) and appropriate play equipment within Yarrow Valley Country park on a site close to the river, visitor centre and car park. The country park is one of the main parks within the Chorley area and is well used, however there are no facilities for play at present.

The design challenges users physical abilities, while being inclusive and enables them to experience the space from a variety of levels; including a treetop platform, tunnels, ditches, rock faces and slopes.
