Yazor and Widemarsh Brooks Rehabilitation Project

To provide professional support to undertake a 9 month period of Appraisal, Community Support and physical enhancement work on the Yazor, Widemarsh and Eign brooks in Hereford City. To assess specific areas of greatest need and begin work to improve the amenity value, biodiversity and natural cycle of the Yazor and Widemarsh and Eign Brooks. To support the community and associated representatives to develop abutting land along the catchment in keeping with local ambitions and The Hereford City Plan. The following areas will be covered;

• Work with the commercial sector to secure human resource for volunteer working groups and financial and material contributions.
• Work to establish a cohesion between the commercial and residential communities.
• Work to establish an ongoing plan to encourage landowners to take responsibility for the ongoing sympathetic management of the watercourse
