YEM – Skelton Grange Common Ground 2018

The project involves refurbishment and landscaping of the front entrance area at Skelton Grange Environment Centre, improving and maintaining a general public amenity. This will improve visitor facilities, access to the popular community centre and links with its nature reserve. Rotting decking would be replaced with a gently sloping paved entranceway improving access for people with mobility difficulties or in wheelchairs. Safe space for groups to congregate will be created and planted up for wildlife, and opportunities for volunteers created to be involved in traditional conservation skills.
