Youth Room Refurbishment

We need to repair the roof of the Youth room, which is leaking badly, and also repair the ceiling below. In addition, as our toilets are unisex, we have been told by Safeguarding that we must raise the toilet cubicle doors.
Many members of our local community come from families where Social Services are involved and have no access to play or sport activities, which can act as diversionary. Youth offending rates of First-time Entrants, aged 10-17, are higher than the average rates for London, and the area has been plagued by anti-social behaviour, and incidences of knife crime. After we ran our two weeks of free activities in the Summer, the local Police told us that there were no incidents of anti-social behaviour.
