ENTRUST announces charity of the year

6 Nov 2013

Every year ENTRUST staff vote for the company’s charity of the year following an open nomination process. This year staff unanimously voted for The Myton Hospices, a local charity with sites in Coventry, Rugby and Warwick.

The Myton Hospices provides high quality, specialist care to people whose conditions no longer respond to curative treatment. They aim to meet people’s physical, psychological, spiritual and social needs and support both patients and their families. Myton Hospice is also committed to training, supporting and encouraging other care providers to practise good palliative care.

Chris Welford, ENTRUST Chief Executive said: “We are pleased to once again be supporting a local charity through our charity of the year programme. The programme is very much staff led and the enthusiasm generated each year is fantastic. I look forward to working with both my team and the team at Myton to deliver some excellent fundraising initiatives over the coming year.”

Rosie Houghton, Corporate Fundraising Support Officer at The Myton Hospices added: “We are delighted to be working with ENTRUST and we are very much looking forward to getting to know the team. This year alone we have to raise £7.5 million to continue providing care to the people of Coventry and Warwickshire though our three hospices, Myton at Home facility and family support services. Thank you to the team at ENTRUST for selecting our charity!”
