8 Aug 2014

The next Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) Forum will be held on 21 October 2014.

Date: 21 October 2014
Venue: Trinity Bridge House, 2 Dearmans Place, Salford, Manchester, M3 5BS
Time: 11am to 2.30pm

Environmental Bodies (EBs) will have the opportunity at the Forum to meet and discuss a wide variety of LCF topics. HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) will host the event, supported by HM Treasury and the Regulator ENTRUST.

The purpose of the forum is to encourage stakeholders to work together by promoting open and constructive discussions contributing to the work of the Government and regulator, in addition to generating practical ideas for the LCF.

If you would like to attend the LCF Forum please email Helen Derbyshire by Tuesday 7 October 2014.

As an event held for EBs we invite you to suggest and present agenda items.  This could be sharing good practices, successes or lessons learnt over this last year; how you approached the Government challenge; or practicalities of the wind-up of the fund in Scotland.

The agenda could also include a brief summary of any current issues from HMRC, ENTRUST and a question & answer session.

Contributions for agenda items should be sent to Helen by Tuesday 7 October 2014 with the following details:

  • name and EB/organisation;
  • presentation subject – (PowerPoint facilities are available); and
  • estimated time required.

A copy of the final agenda and directions to Trinity Bridge House will be circulated to all attendees prior to the meeting.

Please note as Trinity Bridge House is not part of HMRC's estate, confirmation of all attendees is required in advance. Unfortunately entry will be refused if your attendance has not been advised in advance.

Please do not hesitate to contact Helen if you have any further questions.
