ENTRUST is looking to recruit to the role of IT Support Officer.
Following the resignation of the current post holder, ENTRUST has a vacancy for an IT Support Officer. The main focus of this role is to provide technical support across the organisation to ensure that our IT equipment continues to operate efficiently and effectively and that our systems can be accessed and remain secure.
The successful candidate should have experience of maintaining and supporting networked IT systems, IT equipment and operating systems:
- Dell and HP Servers;
- Windows 2008 R2 operating systems;
- Microsoft Exchange 2010 Server;
- SQL 2008 databases;
- SQL 2008 Server Reporting Services; and
- SQL Integration Services (SSIS).
It would also be desirable for applicants to have knowledge of our other IT systems (or similar) including Microsoft Packages (Office 2007, Office 2010); SAGE Line 50 Accountancy Package; Tensor Time and Personnel Management; Alcatel Telephone PBX system, Anti-virus and encryption software, currently McAfee ePo 5.1; Asigra Cloud Backup and Virtualization technologies (VMware, Virtualbox, Citrix).
The successful candidate will work alongside our IT Systems Officer and the role will therefore support the production of Management Information reports, for both internal and external users. In this respect the ability to utilise SSRS and knowledge of Microsoft.NET 2, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and VB.NET code would be useful.

The role offers a salary of £20,000 to £25,000, dependent on knowledge and experience and 25 days annual leave.
