Vacancy for a Quality Assurance and Performance Officer

We have a vacancy for a Quality Assurance and Performance Officer (QAPO). The main focus of this role is to:

  • Ensure that ENTRUST's Quality Management System (QMS) complies with best practice and that it is applied consistently across all areas of the organisation, producing controlled documentation and efficient reporting tools that provide assurance that our systems operate effectively and deliver high quality performance; and
  • Overseeing the company's Performance and Risk Management frameworks, including collating information, producing management reports and supporting the Board and Senior Management Team to ensure that performance is measured and plans for improvement are developed, implemented and delivered.

 

The post holder will report to the Communications Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of quality, performance management and reporting, risk management and the business continuity plan.

The successful candidate will ideally have a background in an Internal Audit (IA) role. They will also have an understanding of QMS, for example ISO 9001, experience in writing and reviewing operating procedures and processes in line with QMS best practice and the operation of performance management and improvement systems.

We are seeking to recruit an individual with experience of undertaking internal management reviews and who is comfortable in working effectively as part of a small team, as well as working with colleagues across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills and an understanding of statistics, excellent organisational and time management skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

The role offers a salary of £25,000 to £27,000 dependent on knowledge and experience and 25 days annual leave, and is offered on a fixed term contract of two years initially.
