Environmental Education Project

This project seeks to provide a comprehensive environmental education programme to the community. The project, which will be based at the RSPB nature reserve in Rainham, will deal with a number of specific issues including: –

1. History of the reserve icluding previous military use as an MOD firing range
2. Previous and current agricultural usage
3. Imprtance of adjacent SSI land
4. Water transport issues
5. Current RSPB initatives
6. Recycling of land

It is intended that the project will educate both young children the community at large whilst at the same time emphasising those that are important in respect of the protection of the environment.
