Happy Mount Park – Accessible Play

Happy Mount Park is a well-used park by residents and visitors to the Morecambe area.
The aim of the overall project is to develop a fully accessible and inclusive play park, this will create a space for children of mixed abilities to play safely together.
This play area will be an extension of an existing park and will host wheelchair accessible equipment. The play area surface will be levelled and an accessible path will also be installed from the main path to the play park to improve access.
Benches will be installed, as well as a wheelchair accessible picnic table.
Landfill Community Tax monies will contribute towards the purchasing of the play equipment.
