Magic Circle Restoration

To restore a historic area formerly called the ‘Garden of Peace’ in the centre of Lewes near the Castle, which was originally created by F. Frankfort Moore who owned a nearby house which has since become part of the public landscape of the town.
Now called the Magic Circle it has the remains of some seating and the surrounding walls which makes it a sheltered spot in the winter and a suntrap in the summer. It has become disused because so dilapidated but with restoration will become a wonderful place for visitors and residents alike to sit in.
