To promote the protection of key habitats during sand and gravel extraction.
To promote the creation of suitable habitats during mineral extraction.
To promote the creation of habitats and public access not included in the agreed restoration plan during the restoration phase.
Carry out ecological monitoring and recording of the site during extraction and restoration.
To carry out research into the creation of temporary habitats to conserve and enhance biodiversity during the extraction of a sand and gravel quarry.
To develop education material on the management and restoration of mineral sites for biodiversity.
