Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Temple Improvements

Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Temple is situated in a former Methodist Chapel on Tong Road, Armley.

The project involves demolishing the existing community centre building at the rear of the temple and rebuilding a larger hall with increased toilet and kitchen facilities. Although the external walls of the current building are safe and stable, a significant amount of subsidence and bowing of the outside walls has caused the roof to leak and damaged the damp proof course.

The new extension will improve comfort levels, reduce energy costs and provide amenities to cater for a greater number of people.
