The Folk of Gloucester Cafe, Gloucester Civic Trust

The former Gloucester Folk Museum is a grade 2* listed building, closed by the Council in 2018 has been bought by Gloucester Historic Buildings Trust and will be run as a Heritage Centre and a Community Hub by the Gloucester Civic Trust. Entry to the building will be free and this project is to equip the café/kitchen so that it will be able to bring in an income which will enable the building to move towards being financially sustainable. The building is situated in Lower Westgate which is among the poorest parishes in the whole County.
