Up grade of street lighting – Pont Adam Crescent

The aim of the project is to replace obsolete street lighting with modern 21 w LED lanterns, this will have the effect of reducing the Councils energy bill for these units by 66% (figures provided by energy supplier). The new units will reduce the Council maintenance bills and have lower carbon emissions which will improve the environment. This will benefit all households within Ruabon as it will have lower running costs allowing the Community Council to reinvest the savings on improving other facilities within the community. This is an ongoing projects with financial savings over a considerable number of years.
