WINCHCOMBE COMMUNITY SPORTS HUB PROJECT

Winchombe community sports hub will be a multi purpose astroturf facility to provide enhanced sports and recreational facilities to the town and the surrounding area.

The site forms part of the playing fields attached to Winchcombe School, and other current users, apart from the school, include Winchcombe Town Football Club, Winchcombe Hockey Club and local village teams both for training and matches.

Facilities will consist of an all-weather pitch with floodlighting and surrounding fencing, supplemented by a new “sports hub” building housing changing and showering facilities for four teams and their playing officials, together with three community rooms and ancillary office space.
