Introductory guide for EBs receiving LCF funds

7 Jul 2017

The most common way for community and environmental projects to receive Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) money is from funding Environmental Bodies (EBs) sometimes called distributive EBs. EBs are subject to statutory requirements placed on them by the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996 (Regulations).

The organisation receiving the grant might also be an EB, enrolled with ENTRUST. If this is the case, then the EB receiving the grant is also subject to the same Regulations.

Following discussion with the Association of Distributive and Environmental Bodies (ADEB) we have created a short guide that provides a summary of the obligations that funders may wish to send to their project applicants, who are also enrolled as an EB in their own right.

This guide is also helpful for all EBs as a short summary of their obligations once they are enrolled with ENTRUST.

You can access the guide on the right hand side of this page, or on the Finding Training Resources page of our website.
