Carryduff GAC YOUTH 3G/4G (Youth Outdoor Utility & Training Hub)

Our Club was set up in 1972 & has grown hugely in the intervening years and our members span the entire age & social spectrum of the area aged 2 to >80 years old. In 2023 our membership grew by 20% to 1568 and early indications are that 2024 will be another record year since our membership is 12.5% higher than the same date in 2023.
Although we are delighted to see this growth, our current facilities simply can’t keep up with demand. As illustrated in CARRYDUFFGAC+SPORT_CurrentShortfall.jpeg the shortfall is 113 hrs every week of the year.
We seek funding for a 3G/4G training facility to provide an additional 44 hours of training slots. This will permit us to achieve the following aims:
1. Provide a safe and secure training environment for our membership including children with additional needs through our Carryduff GAC All Stars Programme.
2. Ensure that we have the capacity to train, play sport and retain our male and female athletes so that they continue to lead active, healthy lifestyles.
