Dawson-River Carron Path Link

The project involves the creation and upgrading of access routes for the recreational benefit of the communities of Langlees, Cobblebrae and users of the canal network and the Greenspace access network. The provision of a through footpath addresses a missing link in the local footpath network providing a core footpath access project as identified in Falkirk Councils recent access research and community consultation activities. The additional tree planting as part of this project will provide further important habitat for wildlife and provide opportunities for additional bio-diversity by linking to the adjacent riparian corridor and existing woodland network
