High House Farm Restoration Project

The project aims to restrore a partially derelict 17th Century farm complex known as High House Farm in Purfleet, Essex. The complex is Grade II listed and comprises a Manor House, Great Barn, Dovecote (a scheduled ancient monument) walled gardens and various associated outbuildings.
The buildings will be converted into a public facility providing education and engagement opportunities relating to local heritage, culture and creative industries and will also play host to a wide range of community events and recreational activities. The gardens will reflect 17th century garden design, include a specimen orchard and outdoor performance space. The site will be open to the public every day.
