Kirkland Park 3G pitch

This project is to create an all-weather, floodlit football pitch for the community of Strathaven. It will provide suitable training/playing facilities for the existing 267 players of Strathaven Dynamo, enabling these numbers to expand significantly. This will equate to 1 in 4 local young people participating and within an appropriate, all-weather, safe environment conducive to quality coaching and therefore improved fitness levels, development potential and playing enjoyment. This facility is required. Our local community of 9,000 has no access to any suitable football training facilities. The facility extends to community use in particular for children and other youth groups and schools.
