Marine Litter Campaign

This project aims to encourage clean beaches and increase the access to clean beaches.
It provides equipment and support for local communities who want to get involved in cleaning up their local area. Access to litter grants to promote active community involvement. It offers a 4-6 week outdoor learning program where children clean the area of the beach being visited, while learning what lives in and around that beach, what damage marine litter has on the environment. Collates information from other key partners and stakeholders on marine issues through a quarterly newsletter called ‘flotsam and jetsam’
