Nature in Art Trust culvert headwall repair

A culvert under the drive to the museum Nature in Art is increasingly leaning and will soon become dangerous. A scheme has now been devised to demolish the top half and repair the whole wall with gabions. This has been approved by the Environment Agency and, at last, a contractor able and willing to do the awkward job has been found.
The headwall supports the drive to Nature in Art museum and provides a public right of way for cars, riders, walkers, etc. If the headwall collapsed it would close the drive and block the drainage ditch, with very serious and immediate effects.
