Refurbishment of Village Green by Riverside Cafe

The aims of the project are threefold: to enhance and improve the fragmented, stepped paved area to provide safer access to services, especially for people with disabilities; to improve drainage in this area by replacing the existing surface with a porous surface to allow better water infiltration, and by installing a new drainage gulley and storm drain; to provide a more attractive, useful space for the community and visitors by introducing bicycle racks, seating, litter bin and a permanent planter to provide additional facilities for residents and visitors alike.
