Repairs Pitchcombe Church

Pitchcombe Church is in urgent need of repair. It needs re-roofing and damp-proofing. Some of the masonry needs renewing. The church is Grade 2 listed. It was built in 1819, being the third church built on that site. The first church dated from Norman Times. The churchyard contains many notable Table Tombs which have been catalogued. Pitchcome is a small vibrant village that has lost its school, shop and pub. The church remains a vital part of the community. Once it is structurally sound we hope to re-order the interior in order to make the space more versatile.
