Tewkesbury Rugby Football Club Sustainable Energy Project

Tewkesbury RFC’s clubhouse was first constructed around 25 years ago. Since then, it has been added to in stages and now accommodates changing facilities, toilets, a kitchen plus a new entrance lobby. During this period, heating, ventilation and lighting systems have largely been overlooked, and energy efficiency has been a low priority. This has resulted in a building that offers substandard facilities yet is increasingly expensive to run.
We aim to address this situation by upgrading the heating, ventilation, insulation and lighting in all areas. These measures will not only cut our fuel bills and CO2 emissions, but improve the level of user comfort for all our visitors whilst raising the profile of sustainability.
