The BIZ Boxing Inclusion Zone: A Police and Community Box-Fit Club (a)

Convert disused gymnasium into unique “Boxercise” facility within BIZ. This will include new showers, changing rooms, toilets, office, classrooms, and fully equipped boxing gym. Boxercise is a non-contact sport that involves exercise, discipline & motivation for 250+ Runnymede youth that are excluded or identified at risk of exclusion. Pupils will be referred to the project through Referral Units, Police & Probation Service, etc. The club will be open during school hours, evenings & Saturdays on subscription basis. Evening & Saturday access will be to general public youth (10-18 yr olds). Those pupils currently involved in the Boxercise Programme at a local school will be trained up through this project to become future fully accredited trainers.
