Wepre Park Golf Course

Following a report by golf course architects it is proposed to reinstate this 9 hole par 3 course to a playing condition for use by the public. The course has hitherto not been maintained and fallen into disuse. The scheme envisages the reinstatement of the fairways, greens and tees to a playable standard. The scheme is supported by the Ryder Cup Legacy Fund. 90% of the work required involves grass cutting and treatment on a regular basis for a recommended period followed by regular maintenance. NB. This scheme will not be supported by Flintshire Community Trust unless there is a signed undertaking by the owners (the council) that future maintenance will be carried out
