Window Replacement of the Village Hall, Weston sub Edge

The present windows have rotting wooden frames and single glazing; following a report from Severn Wye Energy Agency it proposed to renew all windows with double glazed units. The Planning Department of Cotswold District Council have specified that window replacement must be wooden frames to comply with the premises listed buiding status. Rising energy costs are making the heating of the building too expensive for the smaller community groups within the village and insufficient self-funding is available over the urgent timescale. This project aims to maintain this vital focal point and community centre for the village.
