Marshfield Village Hall - Junior Football Pitches

Marshfield Hall enjoys a central location within the village; the facility is managed by a committee formed of enthusiastic individuals and they have a track record of engaging with the local community to ensure that the amenity is used to it's full potential. The trustees for the Hall are also responsible for two adjoining fields, one of which is used for two junior football pitches. The football pitches are currently virtually unusable for most of the season, due to poor drainage and an uneven ground. Consequently the various age-group teams are reliant upon the use of facilities sometimes well beyond the boundary of the village; logistically this makes life very difficult for the hard working volunteers who run the teams and as a result they face the prospect of losing players to other clubs in the vacinity. This project aims to regenerate the land by undertaking works to the football pitches that would enable them to be used fully throughout the regular season.
