Bailey Hill Park - Treasured Space

We believe that people everywhere and of every age need places to treasure. Whether its a place to kick a football about, a place to relax, or a place to have fun. Not everyone is getting the benefit of good outside space. some people are missing out and some communities just don't have any green space to treasure. We are running a campaign to encourage more people to get involved with supporting and improving local treasured spaces. Bailey Hill Park is a place which inspires a great deal of local affection, but which has become run-down in recent years. Working with The Friends of Bailey Hill plan this application for funding will make an important first step towards achieving their objectives. Working with volunteers we will undertake some clearance of the site. Plant native wildflowers and bulbs ,erect bird and bat boxes and undertaken other improvements to the site to open up the access for local school groups and the community
