Triangle Community Garden - Treasured Space

We believe that people everywhere and of every age need places to treasure. Whether its a place to kick a football about, a place to relax, or a place to have fun. Not everyone is getting the benefit of good outside space. Some people are missing out and some communities just don't have any green space to treasure. We are running a campaign to encourage more people to get involved with supporting and improving local treasured spaces .The Triangle Garden is part of a local park in Hitchin, which is open all year round. At the center of this heavily used community garden is a small central gathering area with an old mosaic feature and damaged surfacing. The group wishes to improve this area with new mosaics to be completed by the community. Improved surfacing, new sleeper retaining walls around the gathering area to act as seats and create new planting beds for herbaceous, pollinators and sensory planting and install a shade to create an outdoor classroom area.
